Volunteers clean up the Limber Wagon and other small jobs Leon to organise
Keith Nix to bring soft drinks left over from Sausage Sizzle + makeup flavours and water collects additional soft drinks for Troop and delivers them to Bryan Silvester
MONDAY 25th January
Leon Coad collects marquee from Caboolture Depot of MBRC 108-114 Beerburrum Road between 1:00pm and 2:30pm, & Marquee from Hon Mark Ryan’s Office
Leon Coad collects sausages from Meat City (four trays), Onions from Meals on Wheels and bread from Coles (Keith Nix to organise on 20th January Seating to be provided by Village and 2 trestle tables + 10 chairs for Guests if available. Roger Dunstan, Anne Relph and Toni to be part of the Official Party.
Village and Troop Volunteers install Gaff to Flagpole (This can happen any time beforehand – all parts on site, and erection drawing available.

TUESDAY 26th January
6:00am Village Gate 4 Open
6:15am Troopers start arriving to set up as below. Troopers Schuss, Brown and
Lane will have their vehicles on display and in the Parade so will park them near the large tree just off the road directly opposite the Museum. (SEE MAP) Penny Williams will arrive with horses & park near the Village Chook Pen at Gate 1.
NOTE: All other vehicles delivering to the Display are to be parked off site by 8:45am. They can come back after 3:30 pm to collect gear.
6:15am Bryan Silvester to bring soft drinks left over from Sausage Sizzle + makeup flavours and water in esky with ice, Bryan Silvester to bring BBQ equipment, and 2 aprons
Keith Nix will bring Condiments & BBQ paraphernalia,
Leon Coad to ring food for BBQ, and sort out who are the Cooks and Assistants Keith Nix will be bringing Miliaria for Michael Cowlrick to sell- Needs a Trestle Table and Chair to be set up behind Bofors Gun

9:00am Gates Open to Public
David Withers and the TS Koopa, Australian Navy Cadets displays begin and will continue through the day except during the Flag Raising Ceremony
Mounted Trooper Jonathan Orr will be present on Tom – who likes to be
photographed, Hopefully we will also have an Old Colonial Trooper
The Curator’s Display will have a selection of our weapons on display for close
inspection and will continue through the day except for Flag Raising Ceremony.
Military vehicles will be on display all day and in the Parade
Militaria and Military Books will be available for sale at the Museum
9:30am Keith York or Bryan Silvester may Demonstrate the many features of the 303 rifle and the different models inside the Museum
10:00am Town Crier Mike McHutchinson (0408 837 638) Starting at the southern end, proceed around the road ending at the Public Seating area at the Museum, announcing the Australia Day Address starting at 10:30am. No further involvement until after the singing of the National Anthem
10:15am to 10:30am Prepare for Flag Raising Ceremony – Ormiston Heritage Pipes and Drums will be in attendance in the Marquee at the Aviation Museum and play tunes, Cadets prepare the Colour Party and affix flags. The Village will endeavour not to have competing events on between 10:30 am and 11:00 am MC – .Keith Nix,
10:15am to 10:30am Invited Guests assemble under Marquee at Bofors Gun – Guests include Roger Dunstan, Anne Relph and Toni-Maree Eden. All MBRC Councillors, Ali King MP and Rhiannyn Douglas (Pumicestone); Terry Young MP (Longmans)
10:30am Australia Day Address – Dr Gary Bacon AM, Chairman of the Queensland Branch of the Order of Australia Association will talk about what Australia Day means, and Australian Honours, and How the Order of Australia Recipients are nominated
10:45am Flag Raised, Cadets and Re-enactors in Colour Party.
10:50am Australian Flag Address by Alan Pidgeon of the Flag Association on the history of the Australian flag.
11:00am Pipe Major Laurel Foo – Ormiston Heritage Pipes & Drums. Singing of the National Anthem, All participate, Brochure with words to be available.
11:00am SOMEONE starts Sausage Sizzle for Troop Helpers
11:30pm SOMEONE discusses Munitions & Weapons inside the Museum.
1:30pm Parade of Vehicles to include Penny Williams drawing the General Service Wagon, with LH Troops. Cadets, and Vintage Vehicles
3:30pm GS WAGON returned to MUSEUM and LIMBER wagon to ANNEX + Fence restored
4:30pm Pack up and go
